Every MMO has some sort of online community outside of the game. There are websites, blogs, player developed movies using game characters and graphics, fan fiction and everything in-between. What I like most about the "out-of-game" EVE Online community is how close knit it is.
Every morning I get up and open my iPhone as I'm still rubbing sleep out of my eyes to check up on the latest twitter feeds from fellow EVE online bloggers (Search for the EVE online bloggers by visiting Twitter.com and searching for "Tweetfleet" or just follow this link.
Beyond the use of Twitter, the bloggers of EVE has been drawn together around Crazy Kinux's website. He maintains both a full listing of every EVE blog out on the inter-tubes as well as a more exclusive list of active bloggers who have displayed the dedication to consistently post about EVE Online. This group is known as the EVE Online Blog Pack
Crazy Kinux has done a stellar job in continuing to organize and motivate the blogging community and I suspect that without him the out of game experience might be far less developed. So take a minute and go look at CK's site at http://www.crazykinux.com
