Those who can do, those who can't teach

With things in Providence starting to return to what I'll call the "new normal" I've had time to start settling back into a groove.  During the war it was hard to put a roam together because of a mismatch in priorities.  Sure we were told to go run around in small gangs but it's hard to find pilots who want to blitz through the region in battlecruisers when there is a red capital gang next door beating the crap out of your favorite outpost.

But detente has come to Providence and the roaming gang has again become a nightly event for me.  I have to say that FCing is definately a skill where currency counts.  I jumped into my first fleet and felt like I had my shoes tied together for the first 15 minutes.  But it's like riding a bike (which is a bitch with your shoes tied together) and before I knew it things were coming back to me.

Providence has certainly changed though and boy do I miss the days of an interwoven CVA/PXF/-7- jump bridge network to get around Providence quickly!  The "new" Providence has it's benefits though.  PXF is completely surrounded by reds so it makes it a short car ride to find good fights, although it's nice to conduct a full up roam through surrounding regions once in awhile.

Thing's here on the blog have been quiet of late.  Between the insane schedule I've been keeping at work and the nightly roam I FC, it's been challenging to get a post up with great regularity.  I think I've got the solution to all this though after some good advice from M3 Corpmate Kirith Kodachi, who said "Rex, STFU and write already".  So write I will :)
